The company is located in the east of Wuhan, bordering on the Yangtze River on the north, connecting with Jing -Jiu (Beijing-Jiulong) railway, Jing-Zhu (Beijing -Zhuhai) and Hu-Rong(Shanghai -Chengdu) speedways on the south, Gedian Economic Development Zone on the east and Wuhan Iron and Steel Company on the west. The company has a special railway line and wharf of its own.

　　 Having been improved and developed in recent years, the company has become the largest base for chlor- alkali products in the Mid-China. It mainly operates power supply, heat and steam supply, electromechanical products and basic chemical materials with large scales. The company has strong ability to self -engage, develop and produce special purpose resin and fine chemicals with high additional value as a feature. The annual capacities of its main products are: caustic soda-100 thousand tons, industrial hydroxide acid-100 thousand tons, liquid chlorine-30 thous-and tons, PVC-60 thousand tons (including S-PVC, E-PVC, special purpose PVC and lusterless PVC resin, etc.), chlorobenzene -30 thousand tons, crystal chloroacetic acid -1000 tons and the series of chloroparaffin -10 thousand tons (including R-42, R-45, R-52 and R-70).

　　 With the annual production capacity of 23000 tons/a, the carbon black plant of the company can produce any kind of carbon black of ASTMD1765 from series 1 to series 7 to be used for rubber, ink, paint and plastic industry as well as toner black. The whole production process is monitored by computers and on automatic production line.
